I’ve played guitar for over ten years and continue to write and produce my own material. I also play bass, drums, and occasionally sing. All my latest songs, recordings and general noodlings can be found on my SoundCloud. I also own a lot of guitars.
From 2010 to 2013 I played lead guitar and sang backup for Jersey Shore songwriter Matt Scuteri and his band, the Jive Stewards. Matt is an old high school friend of mine and I had a blast contributing musically to his endeavors. Most recently, I recorded guitar parts for the Living the Dream EP.
In addition to my instrumental duties I also recorded, mixed, and mastered his debut EP The Horizon Line. It was recorded over a few weekends in Matt’s basement over the summer of 2011. I also designed the cover art.
From 2006 to 2010 I served as guitarist, songwriter, producer and designer for the progressive pop-rock group Shakedown Inc. We shared the stage with bands such as The Smithereens and Some Velvet Morning, as well as countless local acts in the New Jersey music scene. I’m still in touch with the band members, and whenever we’re all back home we continue the time-honored tradition of meeting for half-priced appetizers at Applebee’s.
The Nerd Who Ate St. Louis
I started playing in my first band at the ripe old age of 15. The Nerd was a ska-punk outfit from Manalapan, NJ with a sound that can best be described as messy, unpolished, sophomoric—and a lot of fun. Over the course of four years we somehow managed to open for renowned acts such as Big D and the Kids Table, A Wilhelm Scream, Catch 22, Streetlight Manifesto, Bowling for Soup, MXPX, Badfish…and the list goes on. We released the album If You’re Happy and You Know It… and the EP Ultra Nerd 64.
