I assist the Art Director in developing creative concepts for our clients, lend insight and technical knowledge to ad unit builds, help train Junior Designers and improve their creative output, and expand the concept design sector of the Creative department. I strive to improve creative procedures, share creative knowledge with junior staff, utilize other design staff as an ongoing resource, and empower junior staff through hands-on collaboration.

Reported on- and off-site to a variety of agencies including 87AM, ArtHouse Interactive and YQ Media. Responsible for Flash banner storyboards and animation, responsive website layouts, responsive e-mail newsletters, social media graphics and print advertising campaigns.

Freelance Designer – The Wilma Theater
Designed the show posters for the 2014/2015 season. Designed the brand identity, brochure, outdoor signage, web graphics and show posters for the 2013/2014 season, and the brand identity and brochure for the 2012/2013 season. Designed the brand identity for the theater’s ticket subsidy program, Wilma WynTix. Working directly under the Marketing Director.

Visual Designer – GameChanger
Maintained brand consistency and messaging across advertising initiatives for the premier amateur sports platform. Designed banner ads for web and mobile platforms, Facebook ads, event flyers, quick start guides and partner branding. Worked closely with the marketing team to plan and design numerous email campaigns.

BFA in Graphic Design – The University of the Arts
Achieved Dean’s List standing throughout all semesters with a cumulative 3.87 GPA. Awarded the Senior Degree Project Citation for Right Car, Wrong Time and the Alling and Cory Paper Award for excellence in print design. Participated in department-wide workshops studying PATCO user experience under Harold Hambrose of Electronic Ink, and symbol design and clarity under Oscar Fernández of the University of Cincinnati.
Proficient in Adobe Flash, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop CC. Well-versed in Mac OS X and iOS. Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Dreamweaver, and Premiere CC, FontLab Studio, Microsoft Office, and GarageBand. Experience developing for HTML5, CSS3, email, WordPress, Sizmek, and Tumblr.
Senior music writer and photographer for The Pop Break. Designer for independent musicians such as Solomon Hicks, Devi, Johnny Rock, and Drawn. Elected student advisor for UArts’ College of Art, Media and Design Steering Committee. Won poster design contests held by Capcom USA and UArts School of Music.
